Bananig, leichte Bitterkeit. 7/11/12/11/13/11

Bottled 500ml (Tuulensuu Maifest, BB 06/2012)
Slightly hazy amber color, firm off-white head. Metallic, a bit grassy aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Some toffee, almost caramel, grassy hoppyness, Short finish. Quite simple and not so usual weizenbock.

500ml bottle. Cloudy amber with huge stable creamy off-white head. Intense yeasty aroma, good apple fruit note, apple skin, overripe apple too, a hint of peppery spice. Taste has on ly decent fruit left, is more spicy overall, however almost a bit watery. Creamy, soft palate. Concentrated fermenting apple juice.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a clear, pale amber beer wtih a finger-thick, dense, off-white head leaving some lacings. A rather boring aroma in this one, there’s the expected banana and caramel and all that, but it’s too weak and lacking complexity. The flavor goes the same path, the path of boredom. Some alcohol warmth on the palate, medium body and a bit low on carbonation. Short finish. Well, it’s far from bad, it’s just that it’s so goddamn boring. 110318

Bottle. Sweet banana/peach malt aroma with moderate alcohol astringency. Cloudy orange-brown color with large head. Sweet banana/orange malt flavor with moderate astringent finish. Moderate body - pretty good but would have liked a bit more flavor.
