Jura Weizen-Bock, Flasche aus einem Getränkemarkt in Schwandorf. - Kupferrotbraun; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase schwere, etwas überreife obergärige Fruchtigkeit mit feiner Säure vor schlankem Weizenmalz. - Antrunk weich toastmalzig und karamelsüß mit brotigem Weizenmalzeinschlag. Die obergärige Fruchtigkeit ist etwas gedämpft, neben dezenter Banane auch leichte Zitrusfrucht, Gewürze und ein ganz zarter säuerlicher Touch. Milder rezent, vollmundig, hefeweich. Im Abgang sehr milde hopfenwürzige Herbe. Etwas leerer Nachtrunk. - Untypischer Weizenbock, nicht so fett bananig wie viele sondern schön toastmalzig und fein gehopft, frisch und spritzig.

0.5 l bottle from ’Mein-Biershop.de’, best before May 2016. Hazy, dark brownish amber with a large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy aroma of nuts, toffee, overripe banana and clove. Sweet, moderately yeasty-spicy taste of caramel, raisins, molasses, overripe banana, some chocolate and clove, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Tasty and satisfying, although not too deep.

Hazy medium amber colour, tall frothy off-white to beige head, good retention, fair lacing; aroma malty, wheat, banana, light citrus, yeast. Taste light heavy sweet, slightly bitter, smooth mouthfeel, yeasty, fruity, light spicy notes. Develops bit more bitterness in the middle part leading to a mild sweetbitter finish, bit of caramel, spicy notes, medium body, watery to creamy texture, average carbonation. Very nice smooth and mild weizenbock, quite pleasant to drink.

500ml Bottle - Hazy copper with a small head. Banana, toffee and nuts in the aroma. Raisins, dates, banana and caramel all feature in the malty and moderately sweet taste. The finish is fruity and sweet with notes of raisins and banana standing out.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv hefig fruchtig, Geschmack sehr hefig, fruchtig, bananig, leicht würzig, leicht alkoholisch.

Schöne dunkelbraun-rötlich-trübe Farbe. Der Antrunk ist süffig-süßlich, schön mild. Zum Hauptteil kommt eine schöne frische und leicht säuerliche Früchtenote hinzu, trockenpflaumen oder Kirschen zusammen mit einer frischen Säuerlichkeit. Und dazu eine milde Hefenote. Interessant. Der Nachgeschmack ist süßlich-säuerlich und von den hefigen Fruchtaromen dominiert.

The bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass darker than exspected, nice head. Starts strong, intense yeasty, not too dry. Interesting fruity notes of apricot, modest sourish. Finish still strong, warming. Nice!
