Unquestionably the brewery’s best seller, this amber-coloured ale with strong hints of citrus and a hoppy full flavour develops into an enjoyable bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small white head. Caramellish aroma with perfumy hops. Light body, sweet fruit and caramel with hardly any bitterness. Smooth and quaffable. 290111

Bottle: Golden to deep golden, small but stable fluffy head; moderate hoppy-fruity nose; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, not too light bodied; lingering dry fruity-bitter finish with a hoppy aftertaste. O.K.

Cask gravity at Planet Thanet BF 2006, Ramsgate. Amber colour with bubbly beige head. Touch of diacetyl I think on the aroma, buttery and toffee. OK in mouth with more toffee and then earthy citrus hop finish. Too much butter/toffee for me though.
