Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 3 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5
On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - dark amber with a decent head. Nose - unfortunately the first thing i get is rotten eggs. Is this being served in optimum condition? I don’t know. Just grain apart from that. Taste - spicy malt but a bit astringent. Palate - medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a dry but quite astringent finish. Overall - I was looking for some sweet malt and hazelnuts but they weren’t there.

Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Cask at Standing Order. Golden, peaty smoky nose, smoky iodine taste, light toffee. Does not taste like a scotch ale.
