Bottled (thanks omhper). Reddish brown colour with a big beige foamy/creamy head that leaves good lace. Aroma is raisins and some spices and mild toffeeish notes. Flavour is riped fruits, wood and some mild floral and grassy bitterness. As it warms up there’s also some nutty notes both in aroma and flavour.

Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Labeled "Harlem Break". Clear, brown colour with a small, light tan head. Sweet aroma with light roasted malts, chocolate and caramel malts. Sweet fruits. Medium sweet taste, medium body, creamy texture. Short, sweet finish. A true to style brown ale with a good amount of malts.

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Has a deep reddish nut-brown colour with light beige medium head. Malty aroma of some chocolate, wood, dried fruit, maple syrup and some nuts. More wood in the flavour along with nougat and some sugar. Feels quite complex and balanced with a nice sweetness in the end. The mouthfeel is rich and soft, and has a light bitterness. Pretty true to style and pleasant.

50 cl bottle @ Timo A, BBE 11.04.2013
Aroma is malty with some berry notes. Flavour has berries, some malty notes . Somewhat dry, hoppy and nutty finish. Quite unusual brown ale, too much berries.

0.5l bottle. This is a cloudy brown one - some rouge tones also, and it has a nice medium sized, lacing beige top. On the nose there is dark malts, some thin cold coffee and perhaps a swiff of chocolate. Quite low, but fair enough. It's quite average on the carbonation and it has a light oily mouthfeel. The taste is filled with chocolate and dark malts mainly. There is also perhaps a little woody coffee-acidity here, like it has been stored on white wine barrels containing coffee, and traces of something fruity. Gentle bitterness all the way. Easy drinking, and quite an alright brown ale. 17.11.2012

Medium tan head. Hazy reddish brown body. Roasty earthy candy aroma with sugary caramelly notes. Dry-sweet roasty caramelly licorice taste with toffee and spice notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish spicy licorice candy aftertaste with caramelly earthy burnt notes. A bit perfumy, too, but in a nice way. Really nice. Very elegant, balanced, and harmonic. Crazily drinkable, but with lots of flavour. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly, Strømmen Storsenter.)
