Svrchně kvašený speciál uvařený s tamním odborníkem za použití anglických chmelů, skotských svrchně kvasících kmenů kvasnic a českým „dotekem“ – místní vodou, českým sladem a na podbarvení hořkosti i částečně žateckých chmelem. Pivní speciál ideální pro sychravé podzimní počasí.

Tap at KC Dunaj. Hazy darker copper colour. Quickly disappearing head. Aroma caramel and coffee, but overall a bit mild. No hops, not in aroma nor in taste. Taste medium caramel sweet, light roasty, coffee. Cappuccino. Not bad, but the brewery got much better beers. I think it should be served only lightly chilled. Overall uninteresting and dull one.
Retried a few days later at Hostinec Richtár Jakub, same result.

Plastic bottle. Strange interpretation of a scottish ale. Or maybe I got a bad bottle... Anyway. It’s sour, in a quite vinous way, Vinegar. Lot’s of malt. Almost no hops. Lively carbonation. Strange, but kind of refreshing.

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a short and slightly tanned foamy head. Slightly yeasty caramel-malty aroma with a berry-fruity and slightly herbal hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Caramel-malty and slightly nutty and subtle fruity taste with herbal and slightly woody hops towards the sweet-bitter, also quite lingering finish. Pleasant stuff. 04.IV.11
