22 oz. bottle, sent from gn0sis (thanks Eric), split many ways, pours an orangey dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma is intensely peaty and firey, with some caramel malt in the background, lots of booze and sort of a paint thinner / nail polish quality. Flavour is boozy with fire and smoke, bourbon barrels upfront, more subdued caramel malt, some vanilla and intense alcohol. The booze overpowers and surprisingly the body is quite thin. Medium complexity with a burning finish. Overwhelming, but mildly enjoyable in a small amount - it doesn't seem so expertly made, more like an experiment that just came out the way it did that the brewer decided to release.
