Bottle courtesy of Nisse666. Pours tiny greenish golden with no head leaving some nice looking legs on the glass. Smell is sweet, spicy and boozy with honey, marzipan, caramel, charred wood, vanilla hard candy, hay and alcohol. Taste is slightly sweet, slightly sour, slightly spicy and boozy with honey, Granny Smith apples, lemon juice, bochet, hay, alcohol and lemon zest. Mouthfeel is slightly dry, slightly tart, slightly boozy and light bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and slightly sour with honey, Granny Smith apples, lemon juice, hay and alcohol. Bottle 750ml.Clear light yellow color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate honey, grape, flowery. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, honey, fruity - grapes. Body is medium, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is flat. [20110218]

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fiulijn. Very pale yellow - close to crystal. Interesting spicy - almost herbal - aroma. Fairly light body, very dry bordering tart and wineish. The honey is rather downplayed with the spices playing a more prominent part. One of the dry meads that border white wine territory. 170211
