Cask at the Friars, Bridgnorth. Light gold, very little head. Nice but hardly perceptible scent of grapefruit, rhubarb and mango. Gentle sweet taste. Thin, thin body. Almost tastes like a low/no alcohol beer. It’s nice, but very little to it. And I’m having it in perfect condition. I daren’t think what it would be like otherwise...

Golden color with a small white head. Fruity and light carmel aroma. Medium body and a bit flat carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Caramel malty, fruity and hoppy flavor.

On cask @ the Black Swan near Penrith. Pours amber with a decent head. The nose has apple and toffee notes. More of the same on the taste. The palate lacks that nice crunchy biscuit texture I like in an English bitter. It is a bit ordinary, I’m afraid.

Cask at The Masons Arms, Solihull. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is weak malt leading to a medium to weak bitter flavour, slightly malty with some weak hoppy bitterness in the palate. It’s a rather pale Pale Ale it has to be said.
