New Normal - that hated phrase. Don't confuse new with better. Sometimes old is just fine the way it is! That's certainly the case here. Brimming with dried dark fruit - raisins & sticky figs galore - and a sweet finish that allows the old to really shine through. This is everything an old ale should be. Nothing new. Just glorious exactly the way it is.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7
Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Clear brown colour with a small head. Fairly sweet in its dark-malty character, this is evident in its aroma too.
