@ Sct. Clemens with a listed ABV of 7.2 %. Unclear orange with a white head. It was served way too cold so the aroma was rather faint. Aroma is caramel, fruity and yeasty. Flavor is very sweet and so is the finish. 050211

Draught. Weak fruity aroma, also peppery. The flavour is fruity, but still quite clean. Spicy and peppery. Nice.

[Draught at Københavnske Øldage (brewed at Herning) ] Cloudy golden. Fruity pineapple aroma. Sweaty, soft and sugary with near full body. No bitterness. A non-complicated version of Belgian golden ale.

Draft at brewpub. Creamy off-white fair mostly lasting head. Orangebrown colour. Very nice spicey/hoppy aroma. Nice powerfull flavor but very harshbitter finish. A little watery regarding beertype, but a very good beer.

Creamy fair mostly lasting head. Amber too cloudy colour. Just ok aroma and flavor, a little sweet, and surprisingly short finish. Very carbonated regarding beertype. Not a good Belgian strong ale.

Draught at the brewpub
Hazy amber color. In the beginning it smells like chicken! Some malt aroma, but strange; later it’s more usual, showing also some hop. Malty body, some sweetness, the only bad thing is the usual odd Apollo yeast (even if probably they had to use a different one here); it ends bitter and with a too much burning alcohol.

(On tap) Hazy, dark amber with a small, creamy, beige head. Rather vague aroma - a touch of alcohol is all I detect. The body is full, sweetish malty with some light, fruity notes. Unfortunately also some rather unpleasant accents of phenols and other bi-products from the fermentation. And again the crude Apollo bittering hops hit you in the finish - no Belgian ale would end in such a primitive way. Strongly disappointing. 020206

An unclear dark amber beer with a huge lasting head. The aroma is very sweet spicy with notes of caramel. The flavor is spicy with notes of caramel and citrus. The spices I can’t put a name on, since I’ve never tasted it in a beer before, but maybe it is thyme, that has been added. The body is quite strong - a nice fall beer.
