bottle.
Well, looks great! bright yellow pour with a white head. Now this is where things go off the rails. Where is the green tea, and ginseng? There is a slight sweetness int he aroma that i would atribute to the malt, but nothing else, and some stale hops. The flavor is boring, and bland. There is really nothing there. There is MAYBE a touch of tea in the finish, with an odd sweet/sour bite that my throat can’t shake. PASS!

(bottle) hazy pale copper colour with a medium tall white head; faint aroma of caramel and bread; watery palate; faint refreshing flavour; nothing bad but very watery in every aspect

Gimicky. Glad I paid only $2 for a taster at the Rhino summer fest and didn’t have to drink a full bottle of this. What’s the point? Golden cloudy with a little head and lacing. Some green tea. I guess it stops cancer but otherwise? Ughh.

Bottle, 65cl, courtesy of Enjoyit. A hazy, golden beer with a small, off-white head. IPA-like aroma with pinecones and some lemon peel. Malty sweetness. The flavor is quite bitter and hoppy with citrus peel and grapefruit. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. Lasting, bitter finish with grapefruit and citrus peel. A quite nice one. Can’t really say I found the tea and ginseng in this one. 110129

Originally rated September 2009. Interesting blend for a beer. Pours a hazy copper-beige colour with a nice creamy white head that has good retention and lacing like a micro. Nicely carbonated too, with tiny bubbles that are consistent. Smells grainy at first, but then, turns into this beautiful sweet honey aroma and the herbal tea in the background. Semi-smooth, but mostly watery mouthfeel overall which not much bit in the finish. Nothing bad in the taste, but lacking a bit of punch. Wants to be sweet, but too watery and falls short, with a little green tea in the aftertaste. A nice idea, but lacing in the taste department.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Enjoyit. Comes as "Project X" with green foil, no neck label for further explanation. And I certainly don’t pick up any green tea, so I doubt this is in the right place. Anyways, pours amber with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Intense citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, a little caramel with a massive dose of citrusy hops leaving solid IBU’s. This comes out as a straight and very hoppy IPA. 290111
