500ml bottle (5.2%) from a Plus store in Stuttgart. Clear, light golden body. Thin floaters on the surface. Discreet aroma of sweet hops. Sweet juicy malts with bitter notes breaking through, but still overrun by sweetness. Soft carbonated and medium bodied (Stuttgart, hotel room 24.02.2009).

Bottle, 5.4%. According to the label it is brewed by Weiss Rössl Bräu GmbH, the barcode leads to Kaiser Bräu, though. Weak dusty aroma. Clear yellow colour. Big white head, quite stable. The flavour starts off nicely clean, turning malty and slightly bisquity. There is a hint of sweet malt and/or sweet hoppiness.

Bottle (the label says "Weiß-Rössl Eltmann" = Kaiser-Bräu Neuhaus !): Pale golden, lazy carbonation, small, lacy foam; clean sweetish-grainy nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit sticky; delicate bitter-sweet finish. A clean and ... yawn ... decent Helles...........

50 cL bottle (said Grafensteiner Export on the label). Pours clear yellow with a diminished. Slight artificial aroma, chemical with a whiff of malt and grains. Flavour is nice malty with a slight sweetness and a cornish note, not overly sweet nor really dry. Ends soft malty.
