Thanks to Sean for this bottle. Shared with ThirstyBird. 50cl. Milder Antrunk, schön süffig. Dabei leicht karamell-getreidig. Der Hauptteil ist toll Ale-typisch, angenehm feinerb und für die 3,8% erstaunlich vollmundig. Der Nachgeschmack ist mittellang, schön herb-malzig und toll ale-typisch. --> Lecker! 12/14/11/12

Small offwhite head. Clear amber body with carbonation. Light, sugary papery aroma. Dry-sweet strawy papery taste with caramelly notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish fruity caramelly aftertaste with spicy papery earthy notes. Bitterness lingers. Quite nice, but nothing special. (0.5l bottle, from Tesco Express, York.)

Anaemic brown. I liked the aroma though - strong English malt dovetailing fruity bitter notes. OK taste overall, basic malty bitter. Palette too metallic, as is often the case with bottled beers. Cask is better.

Inoffensive, bog standard British brown booze. Low carbonation, thin head, malt sweet, no hop presence to speak of. I think I was over-generous in my first rating...

Clear golden-copper coloured with very little head to it. It has a soapy aroma and texture that’s not too pleasant. Medium bitterness.

Bottle:Light amber coloured, hazy, quickly collapsing loose white head, delicate fruity-malty aroma with a metallic touch; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, but not watery; mild bitter-sweet finish, again with a metallic touch. Not good...

Amber beer with burnt caramel smell and a frothy head that quickly dissipates. The taste is also a bitter caramel though not especially strong. Somewhat watery. Standard style of bitter but not up to much.

Bottle from Tesco Exmouth. Golden colour, very malty with only a shy Touch of hops in the short finish.
