A balanced beer, light yet full-bodied, deep in color yet crisp in taste. With its rich hue and delicate flavor, it works well with light dishes, such as poultry or fruit and vegetables, but also equally well with heavier dishes, such as pork and beef.

33 cL can, thanks to Andreas. Pours dark brown with a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malt and slight breadish. Mild acidic and malty flavoured. Flat malty. Slight metallic. Dry malty and bitter finish.

Can 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with a lacing off-white head. A little roast in the nose. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, caramel and quite a smoky whiff. Dry finish with some hops. More characterful than most Danish "Classics". 261010

On tap at the Faroe Islands tent at the ONS fair, Stavanger. Served too cold for a Classic, but I fear a slightly higher temperature would not have helped much. Brown colour, moderate creamy white head. The aroma has notes of grassy hops, hints of caramel. Bland flavour, dry and "dusty", just a hint of caramel but not very sweet. Very moderate hops in the finish.
