Cask handpull at the Cock Tavern. It pours clear bright golden. The aroma is earthy, musty, funk, barnyard, hay, old dirty apples, apple skin, leather and damp wood. The taste is bone dry, tannin, apple skin, hint of sweetness, earthy, leather, wood, white grape skin, hint of gooseberry and barnyard with a drying finish. Medium body, flat and slightly oily mouth - feel.nit a huge amount of depth, but it is a decent farmhouse dry.

Bottle from the Folsom Whole Foods. Pours slightly hazy gold with a transient white head. Donโt know why this is considered "still". Nice appleskin aroma. Itโs a bit thin, but very dry. Flavor is primarily appleskin. Astringent somewhat. Finishes dry.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a clear, golden color without any bubbles or head. Lots of apples on the nose, with both cores and orchard, a bit sweetish though. Itโs a bit rough on the palate, although smooth. Medium body, dry. The flavor has mostly apples, some sourness too. Sour apples in the end. Well, it starts nice, but the flavor isnโt at the same level as the aroma. 110128

Bottle 500ml. clear glass.Clear light to medium yellow color with a virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate apple, sweet apple, barnyard. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, apple, tart apple,dry. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110128]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a pretty clear yellow with a rough white head. Tart but fresh apple aroma. Medium body, low carbonation, fresh and tart apple accents, somewhat sulphurous with a dry and astringent finish. Very decent. 280111
