Bottled (BB 01/2008)
Very pale yellow color, small white head. Cardboardy, corny and grainy aroma. Very typical 4.7%-lager: sweet malty, a bit harsh finish. Some grassy hops are found in the aftertaste. No faults, no hurrahs and not too hoppy, but I could drink one ice gold after sauna.

A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is slightly acidic malty with a litght touch of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of straw, leading to a lightly bitter end. The body is thin - and all inall it is quite boring.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pale, pilsener golden with a very white head. Fresh, floral, hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied and nicely balanced between sweetish malt and some dry hops. Quite a decent pilsener. 060706

Bottled. Golden, white head. Not much aroma and not much taste. It is my local beer.

Medium white head; pale yellow body. Faint aroma of floral hops and pale pilsener malts. Faint, but quite nice. Taste is very light and clean, with a very nicely complementing aftertaste that is faintly dry with floral hops. Some very faint metal in the aftertaste. A good pilsener, but could be a bit more assertive. (0.33l bottle.)

Bottle. Pale golden beer. Low carbonation. Not much aroma. Not much taste either, in fact. Nevertheless, it is quite difficult to rate this beer, as it is my local pilsner, the one I grew up with, and my most commonly used (beer)thirst quencher. I hope none of my friends see this rating, as it probably will cause a huge discussion, with me against everyone else. (050904)

I want to start my very first rating with my local beer. But I’m sad to say that this is a very average Norwegian pilsner. Not specially bitter or hoppy but easy drinkable. Nice pale colour and no unpleasant taste, actually hardly any distinctive taste at all complemented with a to short aftertaste. A typical dull Norwegian beer considered as the worlds best beer by 90% of the local population. Sorry!
