Cask. Amber colour, minor white head. Aroma is sweet malts, nectar, wood and some slight notes of grass. Flavour is the same with some mild yeastyness as well as grassy bitterness taking over in the finish.

Cask at The Crown, Charlton-On-Otmoor, Oxon, 29-07-07 Poured dark golden colour with small white head. Tasted nicely bitter, some honey sweetness, bitterness lingers for a while, nice beer but not a lot else to say about it.

Cask at Simple Simons, Canterbury Golden beer with citric nose and a bit of herbs. The honey gives it a slightly sweet feel and it definitely has a bit of a herby edge. OK but didn’t deserve a second pint
