Super chunky, hazy and 80 per cent opaque, orange glowing beer with a thinnish, one to two centimetre tall, lightly soapy tan and off-white head that fades quickly. Aroma of oranges, light tropical fruits, flowers and a dry herbal bite with a light touch of malt and grass. Medium-bodied; Strong orange-y and tropical fruit notes show at first with a verye easy-drinking character and some smooth, relatively light and soft malt notes that don't show much sweetness at all - only the depe juice and fruit notes, but no associated sugar or bitterness. Aftertaste shwos the deep fruit and very smooth, but fairly full malt texture and profile with a great orange-y and mango profile that goes down easily, but a slight warmth from a mellow alcohol note shows at the very end. Overall, a fairly nice New England IPA that goes down easily without any real associated bitterness, but a great profile and balanced malt. Surprisingly nice from Sycamore - very good to sample this one fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Columbia Pike), Virginia on 17-August-2020 for US$1,87 sampled at my house here in Washington on 19-August-2020.
