Cask at Fox, Carlton, Beds. Pours clear dark brown with a creamy tan cap. Aroma: toasty brown bread, cocoa and toffee. Taste: light sweet & bitter, semi-dry, more toast, toffee, earth, mild chocolate, nutty. Light to medium body with fine, creamy carbonation. Tidy

Cask at the Red Lion, Cambridge. Black with creamy off white head. Light roastiness, fruity notes, caramel, sweetish with some bitterness in finish. Smooth and easy drinkable. Light to medium bodied.

Cask @ GBBF 2017. Pours a dark amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel and dark fruit aroma. Slightly roasted malty caramel and dark fruit flavor. Has a slightly roasted malty caramel and dark fruit finish.

Cask @ Chiltern Taps, High Wycombe. Clear very dark brown with a lasting beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and a little dark chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and roasted light bitter finish. 170218

Cask @ Chilterne taps, High Wycombe. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, toasted malt, fruits, hops and has a nice nutty finish.

Cask-conditioned, at the Seven Stars, Bristol, 4/10/2017. Medium brown in colour, with a thin, off-white, head. Leafy hops, some brown sugar, berry fruits and slightly toasty malts, before a gentle finish. Fine.
