Tap at the bermondsey dutch bar. A clear golden yellow coloured pour a lasting white froth. Aroma is semi sweet, honey, earthy grains, caramel, syrup. . Flavour is composed of semi caramel, chewy, apple turnover, dried fruits, flabby, honey. Palate is medium sweet, riaisn, apple, caramel, moderate carbonation. Little too sweet, jammy apple.

Oranje bruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is bitterzoet met overduidelijk iets van rozijn, druif en wat jeneverbes. Heeft een sterke afdronk.

Aus der Flasche (bottled 27.11.2023/bbe 27.11.2024) im 2024-03 getrunken. Die goldene, leicht trübe Ale zeigt sich als leicht gehopfter, heller Belgier, aber durch die Johannisbeeren und Vanille versteckt sich das Hopfenaroma/-bitterkeit. Auch wenn die Aromen etwas untypisch für diesen Bierstil ist so paßt hier für mich alles. Ein tolles Ale mit stimmigen Aroma, was gut zum Dessert paßt.
