Who better to name our American Pale Ale after than our adopted national treasure, Bill Bryson. Whilst working for the Bournemouth Echo during the 1970s, he wrote his beloved book Notes from a Small Island. The book is inspired by his ‘Grand Tour’ of Blighty from an American perspective –filled with jokes and interesting facts about Britain – it’s well worth a read. We’re sure a man of this acumen couldn’t resist a pint of Yankee Hack!

Third, beer flight, keg, shared with Finn at Brewhouse & Kitchen. Spotty lacing, clear golden body, filmy layer. Quite promising fruity smell of citrus and peaches. Blended taste of citrus and juicy malts. Refreshing and pretty good. (Bournemouth 22.10.2019).
