Cask gravity @ The 3rd Stortford Beer Festival, Bishops Stortford CM23. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty and slightly roasted caramel aroma. Fruity roasted malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Cask@3rd Stortford Beer Festival, Bishops Stortford. Deep amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, some slight wooden and herbal notes. Flavour is fruits, wood, liquorice and mild ashy notes as well.

Cask at Bishopโs Stortford Beer Festival 2011. A dark brown beer with a bubbly brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, sulphur, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and sulphur, leading to a dry sulphury finish.

Cask (gravity) @ The 16th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2010, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, milk chocolate, toffee notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100429]

Cask-conditioned at the Wenlock Arms, London 17/12/09. Near black in colour with a slight,off-white head. Aroma of roasted malts with some dark fruit. Easy drinking with more roastiness, a faintly sour edge and bitter finish. Good.

Cask gravity at Cambridge BF 08. Very dark brown/ruby with lasting beige head. roasted choc aroma. Itโs an ok dark roasted mild, touch of dark sour fruit. A little watery in mouth. Bit of oily dark roasted malt. OK.
