Copper color. Light toffee nose.Nice rich body that shows toffee, cinnamon, milk chocolate and caramel. Rich and rounded. A bit of surprise spiciness that hits the back of the throat. Dry finish with lingering bitterness. I liked this.

This is 4.5%. Clear copper color, small beige head. Light nose, just some sweetish hoppyness. Light palate. Light woody hoppyness leading to dry finish. Boring ESB, maybe that 5.2% was better.

Cask at the Justice Mills (JDW), Aberdeen. Murky chestnut brown with a dense cream head; toffee aroma; creamy in the mouth with biscuity malts anddry hops; slightly smoky finish. Not a bad pint.
