Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black, one finger tall tan head of medium retention. Aroma: Roasted barley, chocolate, wafers, butter cookies, cream, berries, floral hop. Taste: Light sweet, light to medium bitter. Pretty roasted, chocolate, coffee, cookies, forest berries, New World hop. Mouth feel: Medium plus body, soft to average carbonation. Overall: Pretty good.

Tap. Almost black, coffee foam. Aroma: sweet, caramel, bread wine or port from bread, dried fruits, esters, chocolate. Sweetish taste, caramel, bready, winey, slightly watery finish, warms, good.
