Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, burnt, coffee, light hoppy, grass, soft. Flavor is moderate sweet and heavy malt bitter with a long duration. Cask, handpump at The Royal Standard, Derby 30-01-10 in company of Loz, Simon (Haddonsman) my dad and Pauline Pours dark brown with an off-white head, some sweet mollasess on the nose and in the mouth tastes a little rough around the edges, bit of caramel, some bitterness, its ok but has been the least memorable beer of the day.
