Bottle 750ml @ fonefan
Pours clear pale yellow. Aroma has notes of honey, flowers and nuts. Taste is heavy sweet with a long sweet nutty and honey finish. Body is full, texture is sticky.

Bottle, ceramic. A clear, oily one with some yellow color. Spiced and quite intensly flowery aroma with some honey. Semi-sweet flavor with flowers and some earthy notes. Flavors too. Oily and warming on the palate, a bit more warming than expected considering the ABV. Long, sweet and flowery honey finish. A quite decent one, not impressive. 120623

Ceramic jug, 11.6%. Pungent honey aroma, spicy and a little farty. Hazy pale yellow colour. The flavour starts off quite sweet with a good honey note. Then it turns rather bitter, a little unpleasant, quinine-like. Finishes on a herbal note. Interesting.

Ceramic bottle 750ml. @ home.Clear light light yellow yellow color with a small small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty to heavy honey, spicy honey, moderate wood. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, honey, wood, alcohol, dry dry, citrus notes, sharp. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20101116]

Hazy light blond color. The aroma is a bit chemical and alcoholic, with the honey, but not bad. It has a strange dry mouthfeel, followed by nutty honey flavor and late residual sweetness. Maybe a bit spicy, which makes of it an interesting Mead.
