Appearance: Opaque deep brown with a small off-white head of low retention. Aroma: Dark malts, dried figs, dates, and plums, smoke, calvados, oak tannins, distant alcohol. Taste: Moderately sweet, rich, complex. Toast & caramel, tart oak, calvados, dried fruits, smoke, chocolate,, warming alcohol, hop. Light hop bitterness at ending. Mouth feel: Full minus body, soft carbonation. Overall: Nice.

Tap. Dark brown, black, coffee foam. Aroma: very smoked, burning peat bogs with calvados vapors, isolation, caramel, dried apple with smoke, sweetness, smoked whisky. Sweet taste, caramel, apple, chocolate and a drop of whisky, insulation, smoked bread port, good.
