Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a one finger tall tan short-lived head. Aroma: dark malt, prune, bacon, peat, ash, brandy, faint nail polish esters. Taste: Light to medium sweet, light bitter. Toast and roast, chocolate, prune, bacon, peat, ash, brandy, hop. Mouth feel: medium body, flat to soft carbonation. Overall: Complex. Good.

Tap. Almost black, ash-colored foam. Aroma: smoked, peat ash, prunes, a little iodine, black bread, brandy, caramel, coffee and dark chocolate. Sweet taste, brandy, ashes, coffee, chocolate, a touch of iodine and smoked whiskey, black bread, creamy, warm, powerful, good.
