Tap. Almost black, coffee foam. Aroma: coffee, burnt, grapefruit, wood, herbs, fruity, burnt. Taste: roasted barley, coffee, grapefruit and lime, fruity, herbs, decent bitterness, close to American Stout.

Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a moderate ivory-coloured frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: Pine needles, coffee, toasted malt, some citrus. Taste: Light sweet, medium bitter. Pine needles, coffee, toasted malt, citrus. Lingering hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Medium minus body, average carbonation. Summary: Not bad.
