Bottle shared at Maakun’s. Black with thin light tan head. Sweet roasted malts, dry and choco malts, coffee beans, malty soft mouthfeel and fine carbonated. Moderate sweet and bitter. Quite alright, not very stout-ish, more like a dunkelweizen. --- Beer merged from original tick of Nooit Meer Slapen on 09 Jan 2018 at 13:05 - Score: 7

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Hazy dark brown with beige head. Lots of brown sugar, caramel, quite some sweet coffee, cherries, red berries, light dark bread. Over medium sweet and just medium bitter. Bit watery for the abv, and soft but mouthcoating carbonation.

Bottle shared. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma is definitely not coffee. Peat, iodine, medicinal weirdness and malt. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [31/07/2016]

Coffee indeed. A bit of smoke. Could be more powerful.

Bottle @ home. Dark brown color with a huge, foamy light brown head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, quite a lot of peat, iodine. I thought this was a coffee stout?!! Label says so.. Taste malts, dark malts, again a lot of peat and iodine, bitter. Label says coffee and chocolate...Well, no. If you like peaty beers you’ll probably love it, but not for me.

33cl bottle. Dark brown with a thin beige head. Dried fruit, roasted malts, coffee. Bitter-sweet, medium bodied with low carbonation and a chocolate+coffee heavy aftertaste.
