Unclear chestnut brown with a fluffy head. Light red wine, roasted malt, dark bread, some tart and funk, wood, earthy notes. Mild dry bitterness, slightly sourish and sweet. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively carbonated, dry toasty malty funky bittersweet finish. A very rustic and complex Dunkel that has a lot of depth.

50cl bottle from a trade with Mariusz, thanks! A slightly hazy orange brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of moderate caramelish malt, dark malt, grains. Taste of dry caramelish dark malt, burned malt, straw, grains, high carbonation.

Dark brown colored, small beige head. Aroma is of caramel, Munich malt, bit toasted bread and some yeast. Taste is medium sweet caramel and Munich malt, bit nutty, toasted bread, bit yeast and bready finish and aftertaste. Low bitterness. Low bodied, medium+ carbonation, watery.

Bottle 500ml. @ home.Clear dark red - brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, flowers, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101107]

Bottle (courtesy of Quack-Duck !): Reddish-amber coloured with a frothy beige head, that slowly collapses with a little lace; shy almondy, a bit hoppy medical nose; quite soft MF, light sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied as well; short malty sweet-bitter finish. Not really convincing...........

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Hazy, mahogany colour with a big foamy tanned head. Sweet toast-malty, earthy and nutty aroma with a light herbal hoppy blend. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toast-malty, minimal yeasty and nutty taste moderately dry, sweet-bitter and slightly toasty finish. Decent unfiltered Dunkel (28.06.08).
