Appearance: Opaque deep brown to black with a one finger tall beige head of decent retention. Aroma: Roasted barley, toast, coffee and chocolate, prune, cream. Somewhat salty. Taste: Light sweet and light to medium bitter. Roasted. Coffee and chocolate. Light caramel. Floral Hop. Hoppy ending. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, soft to average carbonation. Bottom line: Pretty OK.

Tap. Dark brown, close to black colour, coffee foam. Aroma: coffee, burnt, a little chocolate and ash. Taste: burnt barley taste, coffee, caramel, pie crust, not bad.
