Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dark roasted malt, dark licorice, dark chocolate, moderate alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20101024]

22 fl oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is dark malty and roasted to breadish malty. Dark malty, toffee, caramelish, roasted and breadish. Ends dry and bitter with dark roasted malty. Lasting dark´malty and slight acidic finish.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of TheCheeseman. Pours a very dark brown with a reddish hue and a small beige head. Hard roast malt with some chocolate in the nose. Medium body, hard roast malt, manure and chocolate. Some roasted bitterness. 241010

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small longlasting tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and licorice aroma. Roasted malty chocolate, licorice and dark fruit flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a roasted malty hoppy bitter licorice finish.

Bottle: Dark brown pour with a small brown head. Sweet and roasty malt aroma. Molasses, cocoa, and dark fruits. Tastes roasty and of a deep malt profile. Dark fruits and light chocolate into a bittersweet and warming finish. Faded hops. Good.

Handbottle from Enniskillen; Nose of chocolate, roastiness, very light smokiness, and ligh flowery hops; clear very dark brown with a small cinnamon-tan head; flavor is light hop bitterness, lots of chocolate, caramel, oakiness, and some alcohol. Finish is light alcohol and bitterness. Pretty good shit.
