Bottle looks simple but good, but I dont like that twist-off cap. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, modest dry, a bit sourish. Finish drier than the beginning, but well balanced. Average!

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101016]

Screw-cap bottle: Pale golden, smaller, but quite stable foam, metallic hoppy nose, but also a small amount of sweet malt detectable; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; sweet-malty, almost fruity (almonds?!) finish with grassy hops in the very end. Quite good for a cheap supermarket brew........

(screw cap bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a foamy white medium-sized head. Slightly sweet malty nose with herbal hops and honeyish fruity notes. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation. Rather malt-accented Pilsener with subtle fruity notes; herbal hoppy, slightly chalky finish with a moderate bitterness. Okay. Interim-brewed by Pyraser, I now suspect Püls Bräu, doing all the brewing and filling for Königsee.
