*Old rating, best before 18.03.2010. Tolles mild-süßliches Bier mit tollen leicht scharfen Safrannoten. Lecker, hat was von Kuchenteig oder iranischen Keksen. Toll!

Straw colour, dull and lifeless. The aroma is cidery with a slight grainy character. Light straw palate. Interesting - I suppose that’s saffron notes I’m picking up...I guess. An unusual, light-tasting beer.

bottle from Frankenland. Incredibly yellow beer with a large white head. Malty base with some spicy flavours (saffron?). Spicy, I could imagine it as an ideal accompaniment to a good Indian curry.
