It looks like a pale lager, just slightly darker perhaps. It tastes more like a lager as well. Where in the world is the wheat?????? It smells little different from a pale lager with just some light malt notes. If you want a "TRUE" wheat ale, don’t buy this. Go with a German or Belgian brew. A very weak effort from Shipyard. It maybe good for someone who likes lager or really likes light beer. The best before date of Dec 2010 tells me it’s not skunked, so it wasn’t past it’s prime.

Out of a bottle at Coop de Ville on Martha’s Vineyard. Pours a hazy gold witha firm white head. Crisp malt on the nose. Medium mouthfeel with nice yeast. Malts are a bit heavy for a summer, but overall a tasty beer while overlooking the water.

Dricktemp 8 grader, flaska, Provdatum: 2009-06-10 UTS: Koppar fin men försvinnande krona D: Nja inte så angenäm doft går inte in i detalj på den exakta beskrivningen. S: Frisk smak, maltig, blandning av: aprikos, äpple och päron ES: Medellång Ja, passar bra som en sommar dryck hade fått 4 om det inte vore för odören - mystiskt har försvunnit efter 5 min - höjer till 3,5!

12 oz bottle purchased as part of a World Market beers of summer 10 pack. Best before Sept 09 notched on the label. Pour is slight haze golden, yellow with a one inch clean white head that falls fast. Aroma of not too much, a bit of grain, a bit of wheat maybe a hint of floral clove. Not bad, just faint. Taste is dirty straw and wheat, garlic clove, cardboard and assorted nastiness. Finish is long and dusty dirty. Palate is a bit oily, fizzy carbonation. Dry dirty aftertaste.

Pours pure deep gold with thin white head. The aroma is light with notes of grains and acidity and little else. The taste is refreshing grains and mild lemon acidity mixing with floral hop notes. To the finish a brief note of roastiness is noticed.

Same review as everyone else, nice summer beer, but nothing too special. was pleasantly surprised at the citrus notes, not overwhelming, but enough so its memorable. nice beer after the beach.

12 fl oz bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Citrusy hoppy and light grassy aroma. Sweet, fruity and light grassy flavoured. Citrusy and bitter into the finish.
