0.3l tap. Unclear brown with a foamy head. Mostly toffee, caramel, some chocolate and dry citrus notes. Malty toffee sweetness, dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry roasty toffee sweet finish. Good Dunkel with a good depth that cannot be found in most Dunkel.

On tap at the brewpub. Klare dunkel orange braune Farbe, mittelgroße beige schaumkrone. Geruch mild röstmalzig, karamellig, erdig. Geschmack süß schokoladig malzig, leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, etwas hohe Karbonisation.

On draught at the brewpub. This beer pours a clear brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes to a film eventually. Small sparse patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt along with a bit of hops. Light body with flavors of sweet caramel malt, ripe fruit and mild hops. The finish is malty with a sweet aftertaste. Decent overall.

Hazy brown color. Very light caramel and roasted malt aroma. Dry mouthfeel, with light flavor of roasted malt; the final gets a bit ashy, and with traces of chestnut honey. Correct bitterness. Too simple.

Draught @ Hausbrauerei Domhof, Grosse Himmelsgasse 6, Speyer, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany 67346.Clear dark brown amber color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, nutty, dusty nuts peel. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100928]
