Schön dunkelgelb im Glas mit süßlich-weizigem Geruch. Der Antrunk ist laff-süßlich mit komisch metallischem Unterton. Der Hauptteil ist schön weich, leicht süßlich-weizig, aber irgendwie im Unterton komisch muffig-metallisch. Der Nachgeschmack ist etwas flach, leicht süßlich und ganz leicht muffig-herb.

Enjoyed at the Palmbrau Ratskellar while in town dining with a co-worker. I have not tried many Kristalweizen’s, but thought this was pretty good stuff. Appearance is a bright and vibrant gold with a rich white head. Aroma is not too apparent, maybe a slight bit of wheat and clove, but not much else. Taste has a nice dryness to it, along with other weiss characteristics. I thought it was pretty good, interested to try other options provided by German brewers for the style.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, yeast, light fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, yeast. Body is medium, texture is watery to creamy, carbonation is soft. [20101015]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is yeasty, buttery with a surprising whiff of smoke. Medium body, sweet diacetyl and a whiff of phenols. No bitterness. 151010
