Bottle 330ml. @ home.Clear dark brown color with a large, creamy - fizzy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, bread, caramel, dark dried fruit, dark berries, tobacco, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dark plum. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101009]

Huge ligh-brown bit fluffy head over deep ruby-brown beer. Dry-chocolatey nose, dry malts, aroma counterparts of melanoidins, cacao-filled wafers and moss. Very dry, near ashy flavour, cacao powder, (ply)wood. Just a tad bitterness in the very finish. Seems very attenuated, remarkable, medium bodied, very carbonated MF. Again a very original Bellebier. So dry that it is ideosyncratic. Thumbs up.
