Cask @ Old Mill Inn Brodie Aroma - slight citrus hop. Appearance - pale golden colour, white head (served through sprinkler). Flavour - Grapey flavour which dissipates to water. Virtually no finish. Rather 1-dimensional and boring. Perhaps a gentle introduction to craft ale for Foster’s drinkers.

Cask at 2011 Deeside Beer Festival. It pours clear straw yellow, with a thin foamy white head and low carbonation. The nose is hay, grass, light resin and pine. The taste is grass, hay, pine, lemon and lime zest, yellow grapefruit and white bread. It is light and has a moderately bitter finish with good duration. A drinkable golden ale, if not a particularly overly-exciting one.
