Mohawk Stitch är en porter som hämtat inspiration från de gamla engelska brunölen. Den är brygd med Pale, Amber, Brown, Crystal, Pale Chocolate och Chocolate malt. Vi har även "pytsat" i honung och mörkt Muscovadosocker, bara för att det är så gott! Mohawk brygger alltid öl med punk-attityd så därför bryter vi traditionerna och använder amerikansk och tjeckisk humle, förutom den engelska.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - BBE 2011-08-30, from Systembolaget, 20110715) The beer poured dark reddish brown and quite clear. Its head was huge and white with light brown shading. The foam kept climbing out of the bottle for quitea long time. Aroma had roasted malts, chocolate and hops. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, burnt malts, hops, chocolate and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. An interesting hoppy porter. The near-gushing behaviour was quite annoying but otherwise this beer was decent.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown excellent fully lasting head. Dark red amber colour. MOderate malty and hoppy aroma. Nice roasted notes. Powerfull burnt bitter flavor. Very roasted. Heavy bitter average finish. Oily palate but too fizzy. Excellent.

Dark nut brown color, good creamy brown head. Chocolate, hops, brown sugar in the nose. Medium-bodied. Roasted malty, chocolate, some hops. Light to medium bodied. Coffeish finish. Balanced, enjoyable porter.

My beautiful lady brought this back from Sweden for me. This is a very drinkable, light porter. Plenty of roast flavor is encompassed within a light (almost too watery) body that makes it very drinkable. There is a nice chocolate aspect to boot. Its nothing special but no flaws and light drinking for such a roasted and sweet brew.

50 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Pours tan, thick, foamy, medium head. Some lacing. Dark brown, hazy appearance. Smells of chocolate, spices, roasted malts and coffee. Taste is bitter and is generally similar to the aroma. Feels a bit watery. Light bodied and too carbonated for the style. A bit disappointing.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with a tan head. Roasted malt, coffee, brown sugar and chocolate feature in the aroma. Roasted and malty taste with notes of coffee and plain chocolate standing out. Smooth and easy to drink.

Bottle from SB today - missed a couple of the releases Cons 2010-11-05, Göteborg AR: very rich chocolate flavor, roasted coffey malt AP: pitch black body, extrem high stouty biege/brown foam - really steady how the h... should I reach the licquid? After 5 min finally a wee chance F: unfortunatly some harshness, great chocolate and coffey but not that that full body that the apperance and aroma insinuated. North american hoppiness, pine, a bit dry finish and also some pineapple fruitiness

500ml bottle brought back from Systembolaget in Linköping. Dense and rocky fawn coloured head atop of a deep, mahogany body. Cocoa and herbal hops to the nose. Appealing taste profile of grainy chocolate, honey, and grass-like hops. Lightly smoked malts, too. Notes of bitter fruits to the finish. Nice and enjoyable porter (Tromsø, 29.10.2010).
