Mohawk Stitch är en porter som hämtat inspiration från de gamla engelska brunölen. Den är brygd med Pale, Amber, Brown, Crystal, Pale Chocolate och Chocolate malt. Vi har även "pytsat" i honung och mörkt Muscovadosocker, bara för att det är så gott! Mohawk brygger alltid öl med punk-attityd så därför bryter vi traditionerna och använder amerikansk och tjeckisk humle, förutom den engelska.

Bottle 500ml.Unclear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark roasted, caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, malt bitter, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100911]

Pours dark brown colour with a big coca-cola head. Charcoal, dark chocolate and some smoke on the nose. Dry, roasted flavour with notes of charcoal, bitter chocolate and smoked ham. This beer was really heavy, almost too heavy.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, roasted malt, caramel, and phenols. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, phenols, and chocolate, leading to a dry, roasted, and bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is hops fruity and dark roasted malty. Lingering dark malty and roasted. Fruity and citrusy hoppy. Mixed hoppy and lingering dark roasted malty.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of joergen. Pours a cloudy and muddy opaque brown with a frothy and lacing beige head. Hard roasted malt and vanilla in the nose. Medium body, solid roastiness, chocolate and a little ashes. Malt bitter finish. Solid. 110910

Bottled. Near black, rich creamy head. Intense milk chocolate aroma. Fairly sweet at first with vanilla and cocoa powder. Fairly light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Drier finish with log spicy bitterness. A bit clean on itself, but together with some dark chocolate it does wonders.

Bottle. Dark brown with a large, creamy tan head. Quite weak aroma of chocolate, sugar and coffee. The same in the taste, also some licorice. Not that balanced. Weak and watery, a bit disappointing.
