18/03 0.5 l fliptop bottle brought from the brewpub. It poured pale yellow body with no head, but notable carbonation through the body. No legs are shown. Strong and fine sweetish honey aroma, slightly dusty. Flavor was even less clean, dusty, pollen, some bread notes, woody, but of course sweet honey is dominating. Nothing bad as it’s strange, at contrary it’s still very pleasant. Medium bodied for mead, long warming and sweetish honey finish. Pleasant and tasty, but the lesser ABV is notable.

Bottle, Braumanufaktur Honigmet. Poured a very pale dull yellow-gold body. Odd yoghurty and honeyish nose, nice. Very bready taste. Honey makes a good impact too of course. Very light propolis. Balanced, drinkable and while it isn’t the most spectacular mead you’ll run into, it’s certainly one of the most likable ones!
