Slottskällans Höstlager är en maltig och medelhumlad mörk lager med rostad karaktär, lätt knäckig sötma med en mjuk och rund avslutning. Höstens färger och smaker speglar brygdens helhetsintryck. Den tjeckiska humlen ger doft av gräs-örtiga toner och den amerikanska mer aromer och toner åt citrushållet.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Nice head with good duration. Color is deep amber/red. Aroma and taste are rich caramel, malt and hops with notes of citrus.

Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2010) - Red/amber in colour. Malty and fruity aroma with hints of dried fruit and hops. Grapefruit, dried fruit, malt and caramel feature in the taste. Not too bad.

Bottle @ Papsø-Grand-Tasting, September 2010. Pours amber with a creamy head and lacings. Nose is peach and fruity hops. Flavor is grain, corn and caramel. Medium bodied.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus - orange. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100912]

500ml bottle picked up at Systembolaget Gyllentorget, Linköping. Golden-brown body. Low, beige head. Smell of mild roasted malts. Roasted mid-sweet malts in flavour offset by dark bitter fruits. Quite alright without any greatness (hotel room, 14.09.2010).

Clear amber with a small off white head. Aroma had toasted malt, caramel hoppy hints. Flavor had toasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Finished dry.

Bottled. A chestnut brown beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel, leading to a softly bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

clear brown, smooth light yellow head. faint aroma, faint sourish, faintcaramelly. flavor is sweet caramelly, nutty.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is acidic and roasted malt. Fruity and roasted malty flavoured. Lingering toffee caramelish into the finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear amber with a lacing off-white head. Great citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, sweet caramel and roasted malt with dry citrusy hops. Lovely. 120910
