Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruity with some nice malt notes as well. Some caramel, and toasted grains with berries, cherries and cassis. A bit of raisin and plum. Some faint alcohol and oak notes. Faint Chico cow fart notes. Light red wine notes. Pours a fairly clear, ruby red with some brownish notes and a medium sized, thick, tan head that exhibits really nice retention as it slowly recedes. Medium light lacing and no legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a moderate acidity. Nice fruit notes with cherry, berry and cassis. Some light caramel and toasted grain notes. A bit of oak and some faint alcohol. Light barnyard funk notes. Some medium light red wine notes. Light citrus notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol notes. Overall, a very nice sour beer. Good fruit notes with some light malt character. Nice, light funk notes. Could use a bit more complexity but this has been developing nicely. Acidity is well balanced and not sharp at all.
