Das traditionell dunkle Festbier wir nach altem Rezept und einem sehr aufwendigen 2-Maischverfahren extra für die Erlanger Bergkirchweih hergestellt. Die erste Bierprobe des Bergbieres findet immer traditionell am 23. April - dem Tag des Bieres - statt.

On tap. Aroma of caramel, toast and floral hops. Quite sweet beer, but not cloying at all. The taste is mostly caramely, toasty and brown sugary with roasty and floral hoppy notes. Quite drinkable. I really like it.
