0.33L bottle, fluffy stable heas, dark golden colour, aromas of dried apricot with citrus, vanila, malt and manure, Flavours of orange, mandarine, sweetish malt and cinamon, quite dry with an empathic bitterness which is a touch coarse, bitter and sour aftertaste. Good beer.

Bottle @ Café Gollem. Golden colour, big white head. Aroma of sour apples, malts, yeast. Flavour is fruity, malty and some yeast, lots of carbonation. Not too good.

Bottle, 9% at ÅBF08. Clear golden colour. Small white head. Sweet, grainy flavour. The alcohol is not that distinct.

06/06 0.33 l bottle @ Hopdevil, Zagreb. This poured pale yellow, slightly murky body with medium head. Sourish aroma of plums, yeap weird, hops are pronounced in lemony and grassy forms. Quite nice, pleasant flavor, but unfortunately thin bodied. Sweetish, with notes of lemon and orange, but bitter and dry as well. Alcohol is perfectly hidden, I couldn’t believe that I drink 9% ABV. Finish is pretty short. Cute subtle beer, although I more liked regular Augustijn.

Huge white head and little grey-brown beer. There are lots of flowers in the aroma (almost parfym?). Flavour is sour and quite sweet. There is no alcohol in the taste. Carbonation is too much and so palate isn’t pleasant. Little disappoitment.

On tap at the Sharp Edge Creek House. Mild sweet candy aroma. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color and appearance with just an ever so slight haze. Initial taste hit is rather alky. Difficult to enjoy when compared to the regular Ausustijn. Bitter malty alky bite carries thru the session but it is never ’in yer face’. Some mild carbonation. Controlled, above average slight medicinal lingering alky malt finish.

Bottle: Poured a golden clear yellow with a thick bubbly carbonated head. The aroma is hoppy spice smell. The taste is very spicy opens the taste buds up and then the finish is brutal citrus and alcohol.
