Unclear yellow with an full egg white head. Aroma is yeast fruit & spices. Strong spicy alcohol taste. Malty light sweet before a moderate bitter end.

Nice big head with good duration. Color is hazy yellow. Aroma is sweet and yeasty. Taste is sweet and yeasty too. Lively carbonation.

Stronger and inferior version of original Augustijn. Slight hazy pale amber coloured, huge quick-disappearing white head. Aroma is malty, slight yeasty and spicy with mild citric notes. Light sweet alcoholic finish.

Bottle at the Hopdevil shared with ozujsko Poured a huge fluffy white unstable head on dop of a gold/amber body. The nose is ok... yeast, some lemon, grain and alcohol. The taste is spicy, yeasty, some maltiness, chewy hopiness, lemon, some malt and alcohol. A good tripel "diluted with alcohol" (yeah, I know it isn’t). Warming and not unpleasant, but definitely not all that great.

Bottle. Golden colour with a lasting white head. Aroma of alcohol, spice, lemon and some yeast. Flavour of spice and malt that ends in a warm alcoholic finish.

Bottled. Yellow-golden, massively carbonating beer with some yeast-clouds and a large, stable, creamy, off-white head. It has an aroma with cellar, black-currant, sugar and some sourness. Flavor has a great deal of alcohol, and malt, fruityness, spicey hops a bit sourness. Medium to thin body and a finish with alcohol, some metallic notes and spicey hops. On tap at the brewery. It pours a clear, golden body and a dense, white head. It’s fruity on the nose, with apricot, citrus and coriander, and pale malts. Some sugary notes too, but not much. It’s a bit warming on the palate, with a nice bitterness showing up towards the end. Apricot, citrus, some coriander and pale malts too. Full body and a pleasant carbonation. Although a bit too warming, even considering its ABV, it’s a pleasant and tasteful beer. 110430

Draught. A bit hazy yellow/golden colour with small, but longlasting white head. Aroma is strong citrus with hints of spices and yeast. Very sweet citrus (blood orange meets lemon and lime) flavour with some malty hints. Lots of fruit in aftertaste.

Light golden amber, fine pearling carbonation, big fluffy lacing head. Tropical fruit and mineralic yeast aroma. Harsh phenolic entry, fermented fruit, chocolaty notes , earthy mineralic, spicy. Strikes me as unharmonic. Velvety mouthfeel, light pearling. Old fruit aftertaste. Now this was disappointing.

Huge, creamy, white head which dwarfs the small orange-yellowish hazy body. (Half of an 0.33l bottle.) Big, fruity aroma of banana and apples with typical Belgian yeast notes. Taste is surprisingly harmonic and subdued compared to the aroma, but is essentially more of the same. Let it stand a little over the best before date, which probably explains the aftertaste being somewhat off. Don’t think this is a definitive tasting of this one. It’s a good beer, but a little boring, as though something’s missing. Not at all what I expected.
