Red brown in colour with lasting head. Rye comes through well in aroma and flavour. Also some yeast and fruity hops. Well balanced and easy to drink.

Bottle @ home. Clear amber red color, huge off-white to beige head that lasts for a long time and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, a hint of caramel, lightly fruity hops, a slight hint of citrus or sour, I’m not sure. Taste malts, again a hint of caramel, citrus hints and citrus bitter. Average body, soft carbonation. Drinkable for sure, but somehow not really pleasing.

Having arrived in Switzerland, I’m happy to find a vibrant local brewing scene. This IPA is heavier on the malt than the hops, and yet the palate is slightly thin. The best way to sum up the aroma is a pleasant mix of sweet and sour, with lemon, honey, peach and caramel. On tasting, the hops are quite bitter without a lot of complex flavours. Nevertheless, it’s a refreshing, fairly easy drinking IPA.

33cl bottle from Drinks of the World, Winterthur. Pours reddish amber, glowing deep orange in the light, big foamy head. Fruity hop aroma. Taste is big prickly hop zest, fruity notes from the rye, moderately sweet character bordering on resiny. Flavoursome & tasty but probably not quite at its freshest. Still.. a very nice IPA.

Botella de 33 cl en el Lupulo. 21-12-13. Ipa bastante floja.

Nutty brown color, good creamy beige head, lace. "Sweaty" Nelson Sauvin aroma (hints of barnyard?). Medium-bodied. Nelson Sauvin exotic fruityness mixed with caramelly maltyness.A bit too yeasty but has potential.
